James Martin is a Mencap ambassador who attended Mencap’s old Segal House nursery in Belfast from the age of 2.
European and World IMMAF Champion Leah McCourt is part of our Famous Faces relay. She spoke to us about why she has chosen to #StepUp4Mencap at the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon.
Conor has been involved with Mencap since he was a child attending Segal House Nursery. Conor is great friends with James Martin and has been training every week with him to #StepUp4Mencap in his Marathon challenge.
Connor McAliskey is a Tyrone GAA footballer. He is also part of Mencap’s Powerhouse20 relay team who are fundraising for this year’s full marathon.
Ryan McHugh is a All-Star GAA footballer who plays for Donegal and he is an avid supporter of Mencap.

Ebony has Down’s Syndrome and attended the Mencap Children’s Centre for a year, her mother Lisa tells us their story.
Aodhán has Downs Syndrome and spent a year at the Mencap Children’s Centre in Belfast, where he lives with his brother, Dad and Mum Francine. We talk to Francine about Aodhán and how Mencap has helped.
Gary works with Mencap on a Thursday with the fundraising team at the Mencap Centre in Belfast, he helps sort out and count the money that people have donated, especially money raised in the Belfast City Marathon.
