Together we want to ensure everyone with a learning disability is listened to, valued equally, and included in all aspects of society.

Support to Vote

Mencap NI are supporting people with a learning disability to to register and vote in the local  council  elections in Northern Ireland on 18 May 2023.

Learning Disability Awareness Training for NI Ambulance Service

As part of our Treat Me Well Campaign in Northern Ireland, we work with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service to deliver learning disability awareness to Ambulance staff.

This work will help to support the 42,000 with a learning disability people when they need emergency medical care.

The All Party Group on Learning Disability

The All Party Group on Learning Disability (APGLD) is cross-political and aims to promote issues facing people with a learning disability and influence policy, legislation and service development within Northern Ireland.
