Learning disability training for NI Ambulance Crew
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) has announced that all Emergency Medical Technicians, who form part of every ambulance crew, are to receive learning disability awareness training with Mencap NI.
This will help the service and crew to better understand the needs of the 42,000 people with a learning disability in Northern Ireland.Find out more

Mencap Centre in Belfast
Mencap Centre was officially opened by the First and Deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland in 2016.
The centre is the first of its kind for Mencap, and is a radical step for the future of children and young people with a learning disability, and their families, across Northern Ireland.
