Mencap Centre in Belfast
Mencap Centre was officially opened by the First and Deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland in 2016.
The centre is the first of its kind for Mencap, and is a radical step for the future of children and young people with a learning disability, and their families, across Northern Ireland.

1200 people with a learning disability die avoidably every year across the UK
We know the treatment people with a learning disability get in hospital is still not good enough in many parts of the country.
This has to change. Which is why we've launched Treat me well.
