James will be taking on the Fun Run at the Belfast Marathon alongside his uncle Louis in aid of Mencap NI, the official charity partner of the event.

This is the third year James has taken on the Fun Run in aid Mencap NI raising a total of £2000 in previous years.

In the third and final year as charity partners, James hopes to raise a further £1000 to reach his £3000 fundraising target.

Speaking of his fundraising efforts James said,

‘I can’t wait to take part in the Belfast City Marathon again this year in aid of Mencap NI’

‘From being an employee with Mencap I get to see the vital work they provide to people with a learning disability across Northern Ireland’

‘One of the main reasons I want to raise funds for Mencap is to help children with a learning disability who attend the Mencap Children’s Centre in Belfast, which is run in partnership with the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust’
